Instructions

1. Go to the website: KWL Chart Creator.
2. Enter your name and the topic: Expressing Ourselves.
3. Click Continue.
4. In the chart,
• K stands for What You Know
• W stands for What You Want to Know
• L stands for What You Have Learned
  
  
5. Fill in the chart under What You Know, answering these questions:
• What have you learned about expressing yourself so far? Think about the opinion pieces you have read and the entertainment issues that were presented.
• What have you learned about preferences for arts and entertainment experiences?
  
  
6. Write down your ideas on the chart. Add each idea by clicking +Add Heading.
7. Then click Next.
8. Fill out the chart under What I Want to Know, answering these questions:
• What questions do you have regarding how we express ourselves?
• Do you wonder what other ways there are to express our opinions, ideas, and feelings?
  
  
9. Leave the last section, What I Learned, blank for now. You will complete it at the end of the unit.
10. Click Finish.
11. Click Save Draft.
12. Choose a name for your file. (Example: jsmith_kwlchartunit4)
13. Click Save.
14. Click on Documents folder.
15. Click Save. Your KWL Chart is in your Documents folder for you to use later.
