A realistic fiction story is one that could have happened but did not.
- Read the first paragraph on page 70 of Literacy in Action 6B.
- Scan the following websites where you may find realistic fiction stories to read.
- List titles of books from those websites you may be interested in reading in the Reader's Notebook: Books I Want to Read.

- Kidsbooks 101
- Realistic Fiction (Click Browse, then click By Subject and Genre, next click Realistic Fiction, then click Grade Level.)
