Instructions for using the KWL Chart.

Under K: What You Know, list all the things you have learned about connections to the past so far. What have you learned about looking for information on historical events or historical figures?
Under W: What You Want to Know, list the questions you have regarding our country's past. List the parts of your past or your family's history you are interested in finding more about or are interested in sharing with others. Answer the question: Do you wonder if there are different versions of history depending on whose point of view is being expressed?
Leave the L: What You Have Learned area blank for now.
