Course Instruction

Instruction in every unit is arranged to help you know what you are going to learn and why that is important in daily life. You can explore one topic in several selections to see how different reactions can have different results. Horizontal coloured banners with headings will help you recognize a specific kind of task or activity throughout the course, such as Read, Concept Map, Big Question, and Assignments.

Learning Goals

Learning Goals are your targets for learning about reading, writing, and other forms of literacy. Learning Goals are clearly stated at the beginning of each unit and reviewed at the end of the unit.

Big Questions

Big Questions are about a common topic in all unit readings and assignments. You will be thinking about the Big Questions often as you work through units.
