Cartoon Strip

Go to page 58 of Literacy in Action 4A.

In this cartoon strip, a boy receives and sends messages during his day at home and school. Three frames in each strip tell about different parts of his day with few words, which is very different from a story.

Make Some Predictions

Make some predictions about what kinds of messages the boy might receive during the day from his family and friends. Add these types of messages to your Reader’s Notebook: Cartoon Strip.
