Let's Take a Look at How You View Visual Messages

Read information on page 62 of Literacy in Action 4A.

You are asked to think about an ad, poster, or video game that you have seen. Write answers to the three questions in Reader’s Notebook: Viewing Messages.

As you have seen, messages we send and receive include both words and images. People notice colourful advertisements, big signs or posters, and commercials on television because they are designed to catch our attention.
