A letter is a personal or business form of a message from one person to another.
Go to Private and Confidential on page 105 of Literacy in Action 4A.
This story is longer than other stories you read in the course so far.

Save
How to save a file for submission:
- Have the file open and select Save As from the File menu.
- Select your Documents folder as the location to Save In.
- Name the document. You will always name your documents in a similar way.
- Use the first letter of your first name, followed by your last name, then an underscore (_), then the name of the file.
- In this case, the file name is Reader’s Notebook: Private and Confidential. For example, if my name is John Smith, I would name my file jsmith_privateandconfidential.
- Click Save. Your chart is in your Documents folder.
- This Formative Assessment worksheet is similar to homework, which is an opportunity to practise important concepts in the lesson. The worksheet is NOT for marks.
- However, your teacher may ask you to submit this worksheet to check on your progress so be sure to save it in your Documents folder.
