Your task is to create a procedure for something.

  • How do you make a snowman?
  • How do you tie shoes?
  • How do you care for a pet?
  • How do you make popcorn?
  • How do you sharpen a pencil?
  • How do you carve a pumpkin?

How to Create a Procedure


Follow these instructions to create a Procedure:


You can choose one of these or create your own. Remember when you write a procedure, you must first include necessary supplies, then list the steps in your procedure in sequence with transition words:

  • First, you need ______
  • Then, you need ______
  • Finally, you need ______


You will create your procedure using the document My Procedure.

  2. IMPORTANT NOTE: When the download screen opens:

Save

How to save a file:


  1. Have the file open and select Save As from the File menu.
  2. Name your My Procedure file in this format: jsmith_myprocedure and save the file to your Documents folder.

  2. However, your teacher may ask you to submit this worksheet to check on your progress so be sure to save it in your Documents folder.
