Here are some examples to choose from:
- How do you play your favourite game?
- How do you make a snowman?
- How do you tie shoes?
- How do you care for a pet?
- How do you make popcorn?
- How do you sharpen a pencil?
- How do you carve a pumpkin?
How to Create a Procedure
Follow these instructions to create a Procedure:
You can choose one of these or create your own. Remember when you write a procedure, you must first include necessary supplies, then list the steps in your procedure in sequence with transition words:

You will create your procedure using the document My Procedure.

- Download the document My Procedure. You can use the My Procedure Example to help guide you in creating your own procedure.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: When the download screen opens:
- Click the "Open with" button.

Check your work as you review each question on the checklist.
Save
How to save a file:
- Have the file open and select Save As from the File menu.
- Name your My Procedure file in this format: jsmith_myprocedure and save the file to your Documents folder.
- This worksheet is similar to homework, which is an opportunity to practise important concepts in the lesson. The worksheet is NOT for marks.
- However, your teacher may ask you to submit this worksheet to check on your progress so be sure to save it in your Documents folder.
