Mountain Tamers
Mountain Tamers is the next story about the Fenton Street Four.
This story is another great one to practise the predict, infer, connect strategy, so remember to use it as you read.

- Read the title and look at the pictures. Go to your Reading Strategy Chart and add your predictions to My Predictions for Part One for this story.
- Read page 72 in Literacy in Action 4B. Pause and check your predictions. Then write new predictions to My Predictions for Part Two for the next part of the story.
- Read page 73 in Literacy in Action 4B. Pause and check your predictions, think about the inferences and connections you made to other stories or your own life, and fill in the rest of the chart for this story.
- Answer the questions about the story on the Reader's Notebook: Mountain Tamers worksheet.
