Four places in this report have different landforms.

There is some very interesting information on how each of these places were formed. The headings help you separate the information and keep it organized in each section.

After reading each section, answer three questions to summarize information on the Reader's Notebook: What a Country! worksheet. Questions are the same for each of the sections.

Use the information in each of your summaries to do a compare and contrast chart or diagram.

  1. Pick two of the four places that you read about.
  2. Go to the last page of the Reader's Notebook where you will see the compare and contrast diagram.
  3. Type the name of your first choice in the "First Place" column.
  4. List things similar to both places in the middle column (Same), such as tourists visit both places.
  5. Type the name of your second choice in the "Second Place" column.
  6. One difference for both places is the type of landform.
  7. You should include two similarities and two differences for each place.
  8. When finished, save your Reader’s Notebook: What a Country worksheet to your Documents folder.
