As you read through the different roadside attractions, you will notice that the trip goes from east to west, with stops at each province and then up north to the territories.
Read through the selection once, then go back and record the roadside attraction for each of the places listed on the Reader's Notebook page. There are 13 places to record the roadside attractions.
Each of these roadside attractions are unique and related to the place that they are situated in. Communities use roadside attractions to attract more tourists into the area. People may come to explore a community if they have heard about a roadside attraction there.
Answer the questions in the After Reading section of the Reader's Notebook page after you have finished recording the attractions.
