Essential Information

This course is worth five Alberta high school credits and should take you approximately 125 hours to complete. Contact your teacher to set up a timeline to help you finish the course to suit your goals.

English 20-2 has four modules. Each module contains the instructions you need to complete your assignments. Complete each task in order, following the instructions carefully. As you finish each assignment, submit it to the dropbox for assessment.

Open-Book Reviews occur throughout the course to help you review and to reinforce important course content. They are open book, which means you can use your course materials to help you answer the questions.

This course has two exams. Both require supervision. Contact the exam department toll-free 1-866-774-5333 extension 5255 to make arrangements to write these exams when you are ready to do so.

Note: Exam 1 is a summative assessment of your work in Module 1 and Module 2. Exam 2 is a summative assessment of your work in Module 3 and Module 4. Should you score less than 40% on either of these exams, you will be required to write an appeal exam. Should you score less than 40% on your appeal exam, the original exam mark will count as your mark for the half of the course assessed by that exam.
