5.4.7 Time to Read

Before beginning the Novel study, ensure you have chosen and located one of the novels for use in the course. Now is a good time to start reading your novel in anticipation of the next set of assignments. Choose one of the following novels to study. (You are welcome to read more, of course!)

• Forbidden City by William Bell

• Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck

• Hate List by Jennifer Brown

• Hole in My Life by Jack Gantos
