6.5 Reviewing Personal Responses

At the end of module 5, you learned that a Personal Response is designed to give you opportunity to discuss a personal reaction to a text or a certain topic.

Personal responses require an essay format, which is a form of prose , a term common in English Language Arts. Though it sounds fancy, prose is merely writing that uses sentences and paragraphs, such as an essay, short story, blog entry, or letter.
