Lesson 1 — Activity 2: Connecting with Others
In this activity, you will have a chance to think about what you would
want to know if you were able to meet or talk to someone you admire or
are interested in.
Imagine you had the chance to interview someone you had always wanted to meet or someone you already know but want to learn more about.
- Who would you really like to talk to? Why?
- What kinds of questions would you ask? Why?
- What would you want to learn about this person?
Imagine you had the chance to interview someone you had always wanted to meet or someone you already know but want to learn more about.

Here are some topics you might use if you were interviewing someone:
- Their family: their parents, brothers and sisters, their extended family
- What they do for fun: interests, activities, likes and dislikes
- Schooling: where they go or went, favourite subjects and activities, feelings about school
- Work: their job, career plans and goals
- Memories: what they remember: celebrations, holidays, experiences
- Their hopes and dreams: accomplishments, what they wish for, what they look forward to
