It has only been in recent years that many minority groups have had a place in the mass media. Even today, those representations are not necessarily balanced or fair.

For this activity, you will first view two videos. They show the way Hollywood thought of First Nations people in the early days of producing movies. Even a movie such as Peter Pan presented stereotypes about First Nations people to very young minds.
