Pinch Points


A pinch point is an area where two or more rotating parts move together at high speeds. At least one part moves in a circle.

Examples of pinch point hazards are chain drives, feed rollers, gears, and belt drives.




Never perform maintenance or repair on a machine that is running.

Don't wear loose-fitting clothing.

Don't stand near the moving parts of a machine that is running.
