The Pest Management Regulatory Agency of Health Canada, through the Pest Control Products Act and Regulations (PCPA), is responsible for :

• pesticide registration and re-evaluation,
• human health and safety,
• environmental impact,
• value/efficacy assessment,
• alternative strategies, and
  
• federal regulations compliance and enforcement.
