Welcome to English 30-2

This course is made up of seven modules:

Module 1: Looking Ahead

Module 2: The Literary Experience

Module 3: Media and Technology

Module 4: The Fictional World

Module 5: Functional Communication

Module 6: The Power of Drama

Module 7: The Road Ahead

Grading and Course Mark

Your final mark will be based on the following:

Each module is worth 6.125%

       - Each assignment is worth 25% of your module grade

This makes up 43% of your total grade

There are three timed essays exams in the course: one each in Modules 5, 6 and 7.

The essays make up a combined 27% of the final mark. 9% for each essay. 

The final exam makes up the remaining 30%

       -The Written portion is worth 15%

       -The Multiple Choice is worth 15%

   The Diploma Prep and Check in sessions are mandatory parts of the course, but they are formative assessment, not summative, and therefore are not part of your final mark. Look through the grade sections to see your current grade.
