English 30-2 is a 5 credit course that takes approximately 125 hours of work to complete. At the end of the course, there is a diploma that is required. Diplomas are written in November, January, April and June.Â

Working Through the Course
To start the course, read through the Course Outline, and the Welcome to English module. Complete the Starting English quiz, and the Diploma Intention form, then move forward to the modules. Each Module has lessons you must read and then assignments you need to complete based on the readings. There is also a discussion board to comment on, five comments per module. In Module 5, Module 6 and Module 7, there is an essay exam, based on the Diploma exam, that measures what you have been studying.Â

Timeline
The course takes 125 hours of work to complete.Â
The Work Plan in the Important Links block has various plans depending on your student status. If you are attending an Outreach as your school, this course will take 10 weeks. Please review the Work Plan and follow the schedule. If you are attending another High School and are just taking an online course, you will follow the Concurrent student plan, which takes 19 weeks. Please follow the schedule for completion.Â
