Do not start this exam unless you have set aside at least 3 hours, as there is no option to pause or stop the exam once it starts. The timer will continue even if you close the window or log out of Moodle. If you experience technical difficulties during the exam, contact your teacher immediately when it occurs. If necessary, leave a voicemail or email, do not wait until later to contact your teacher.
This exam must be completed independently. You may not seek help from others (tutor, parent, sibling, friend, outside website, etc.).
Showing Work
For written response questions, you must show all work and use proper math notation in order to receive full marks. Typing your answers is difficult to show all work and use proper notation. Therefore, please ensure to either:
- Hand-write your work and upload a picture of this work to the corresponding question. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.
- Use MathType Equation editor to show complete steps and use proper notation. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.
If you run into difficulties uploading your work or using the MathType equation editor, please contact your teacher immediately.
How to Get Started
- Click Attempt Quiz Now at the bottom of this page.
- A confirmation window will pop up with a message: "Number of attempts allowed - 1 You are about to start a new attempt. Do you wish to proceed?"
- Click Start Attempt.
- Enter Password, provided by your teacher.
How to Save Your Work
- After you have entered your answers for any of the questions on the page, click the Next button at the bottom. This will save all your answers and display the next page.
- You may change or modify your answer at any time by going back to the questions.
How to Submit an Exam
- On the Summary of Attempt page, check to ensure all questions have been answered.

Go to the bottom of the page and click the Submit All & Finish button.
- A confirmation window will pop up. Click the Submit All & Finish button again.
If your exam time limit is reached before you complete the exam or if you forget to click the Submit All and Finish button, your attempt will be automatically submitted and you will not be able to make any changes.
How to Check your Results
When your exam has been marked, you will be able to review your score. Exams should be marked in 2-3 business days.

- If it has been marked, you will see the raw score for the exam.
