COURSE INFORMATION
I am here to help you with your course! If you are struggling on one of the projects or are having trouble with a concept, please feel free to contact me. Since you are taking this course online, you are expected to be checking your email regularly because I will be sending out emails regularly with important information for you.
DUE DATES
To align with RVS's continuity plan during this time of uncertainty, due dates will be given on a week by week basis every Monday.
ASSIGNMENT FEEDBACK & MY AVAILABILITY
Assignments handed in will be marked within 7 full days. Expect the turn-around to be 5-6 days.General written feedback will be given on Moodle for all assignments. It is up to you to request specific feedback for your assignments.BIG IDEAS AND ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS:
As you explore and research you will inevitably approach the questions below. Think about their significance and let them inform your projects!
- How is human interaction influenced by geography?
- Conversely, how does human interaction influence geography?
EXPECTATIONS
Please note this course has suggested due dates, which means that you are to work at a pace that fits your schedule. You are however expected to work through the course in a timely fashion and to complete all of the projects within one term. The assignments always take more work than you think; do not leave them until the last minute!
- If an assignment is not handed on or before the suggested due date, you will receive a missing assignment "zero" in Powerschool until you hand that assignment in.
- Assignments are to be completed on your own, not with the help of a friend or tutor. If you are having trouble, email me and I will offer the help! You also must complete all three projects!
- You should be citing your research in MLA or APA format. Talk to me if you don't know how to do this. You can also use the citing format I have given in the course lessons.
- Submit assignment files as Powerpoint (ppt) or PDF. Do not submit ODF, PAGES, KEYNOTE, or others... I will make you resubmit/reupload if you do.
