For this assignment, you will use the career profile worksheet from the previous activity to write a five-paragraph essay.
To review, a five-paragraph essay has the following parts:

introduction

introduce your topic in your first paragraph
- body paragraphs — use each of your three body paragraphs to develop support for your main point
- conclusion — use your conclusion to summarize your support and show how it reflects your main point

Information for Assignment:
You may use a computer or paper to complete this assignment.
Using the five-paragraph essay organizer that you completed above, write a five-paragraph essay telling about your chosen career. In your first paragraph, you will tell the reader about the career you chose. In the following three body paragraphs, you will tell more about your chosen career (e.g., using the career profile worksheet from the previous lesson where you researched and answered three questions about the career). In your concluding paragraph, you will summarize your ideas about the career that you chose).
Please do one of the following:
- You can type your work directly into the assignment box on the next page by clicking the "add submission" button under the orange box at the bottom of this page.
- If you typed your work in a separate Word document, save your document, and either send it to your teacher as an e-mail attachment or print it off and hand it in to your teacher so it can be graded. You can also attach your document within Moodle. To do this, click on the "Add submission" button below, and then click on "File submissions."
- You can also choose to complete a hand-written assignment on a piece of paper. If so, please hand in your assignment to your teacher so it can be graded.
Remember to use complete sentences, organize your ideas, and proofread
your work.
