γγγ« is one of many special New Year's dishes. The ingredients and stock vary depending on the region of Japan but the one consistent ingredient is γγ‘. There is always a piece of mochi inside your bowl of soup. Be careful when you eat the mochi because, when it's hot, it expands and gets very stretchy and you could choke on it.
After New Year's, there's usually at least one person in Japan who chokes to death on their mochi in their ozoni! γγγ€γγ¦οΌBe careful!
