For this activity, you are going to be adding captions to a storyboard.

- Download the document Symbols of Canada – Storyboard.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: When the download screen opens:
- Click the "Open with" button.
- Select "Adobe Reader".
- Click "OK".
- You will then be able to view the document Symbols of Canada – Storyboard.
- Print the document.

You must add captions to each panel or picture.
- Your captions should explain what is going on in each panel as if you were narrating a story.
- The captions should go together and make a short story about making the loonie.
- Each caption must be two or three sentences long.
- You must also add a title to your storyboard.

You must write complete sentences for your captions.
- You are also expected to use correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Make sure to read over your captions a few times to make sure you haven't missed any mistakes.
- You are to organize your ideas and add your title and captions on this Assignment 6-1 file.

Save
How to save a file for submission:
- If you have created a paper document, scan the document to your computer.
- Select your Documents folder as the location to Save In.
- Name the document. You will always name your documents in a similar way.
- Use the first letter of your first name, followed by your last name, then an underscore (_), then the name of the file.
- In this case, the file name is 6-1-Symbols-captions. For example, if my name is John Smith, I would name my file jsmithla5_symbols-captions.
- Click Save. Your chart is in your Documents folder.
Submit your file to the teacher:
- Submit your completed Assignment 6-1 Symbols- captions worksheet.
- Click on the Add Submission button to upload your document.
