Follow each of these steps, in order, to complete your assignment.

Step 4: Write Your Body Paragraphs.
Write a body paragraph about each topic in your argument, carefully following your planning sheet. Use specific details from the information provided with the assignment. Be sure to comment on the details you chose and explain how they support your position. Wherever possible, connect to your audience.
Step 5: Write Your Conclusion.
Thank your audience for considering your ideas, and remind them of your purpose in writing. Review your key arguments and why they should either ACCEPT or REJECT the proposal.
End your introduction with a clear statement about your intent to persuade your audience.
- Write an introductory paragraph of your own, based on your plan and the feedback you received form your marker.
- Go back to the assignment and identify your role, your audience, and your purpose for communicating.
- What is the issue being debated?
- What is the main argument of those whose position is different than yours?
- How can you refute (argue against) that argument?
