- a voice recording of one of the paragraphs about world record holders

Directions for your voice recording.
How to Make a Voice Recording
Follow these instructions to make a Voice Recording:
- Choose the World Record article you would like to record. Practice reading the title, the paragraph, and a short comment telling your opinion of the record (was it cool, silly, great?).
- Practise reading the article out loud before recording so that you can read it clearly.
- Go to the Vocaroo site. You will need a recording microphone set up on your computer to record your voice.
- When you are ready, click record. When you are finished recording, click stop.
- Click either retry or listen. Re-record if you did not like it the first time.
- When satisfied with your recording, click happy with the recording on the bottom of the screen and save.
- Save your recording by clicking the email button.
- Type your email address and a message stating the recording is from you, then click send.
- Ask your teacher for help if you have problems.
- OR: Follow these steps to make your mp4 recording to submit.

Save
How to save a file:
- Have the file open and select Save As from the File menu.
- Name your Effective Voice Recording file in this format: jsmith_effectiverecording and save the file to your Documents folder.
Throughout the unit, you learned and practiced new concepts and presentation formats. Now it's time to demonstrate or "sum up" your understanding of that information by submitting this assignment for a mark.
- Submit your Effective Voice Recording now to your teacher for marking.
