Completion requirements
Now that you have completed your planning, choose a format to present information about yourself.
You may use the computer or paper to complete the assignment. You may:
1. You can type your work directly into the assignment box on the next page by clicking the "add submission" button under the orange box at the bottom of this page.
2. If you typed your work in a separate Word document, save your document, and either send it to your teacher as an e-mail attachment or print it off and hand it in to your teacher so it can be marked.
3. You can also choose to complete a hand-written assignment on a piece of paper. If so, please hand in your assignment to your teacher so it can be marked.

In this first assignment, you will plan and then choose how to introduce yourself to your teacher.
Click here to go to an activity that will help you describe yourself. Fill out the web and save it.
Now that you have completed your planning, choose a format to present information about yourself.
You may use the computer or paper to complete the assignment. You may:
- create a collage — attaching pieces of different materials (such as paper, cloth, or wood) to a flat surface

- create a poster — pictures you find or drawings you make
- choose another format that you'd like to use
Remember to add writing to your work. Explain what the pictures or drawings are about.
You can include information about:
- yourself, your family, your pets
- your friends
- your favourite activities, movies, games, TV shows, sports, books, etc.
- your likes and dislikes
- your plans for the future, your dreams
When you are done, review your work for spelling and proper punctuation.
