  2. Expand (n + 1)!.
  3. How does what you did in questions 1 and 2 relate to the definition n! = n(n − 1)(n − 2)(n − 3)…(3)(2)(1)?

Remember that you always subtract 1 to get the next term. Therefore, (n + 1 − 1) or n would be the second term. Follow this pattern all the way down to 1.
