Final Project 4: Newsletter

 

Your next task in your new job at the travel agency is to create an eye-catching promotional newsletter. Your newsletter will include:

  • a title (formatted in WordArt)

  • a decorative line to separate the title from the text

  • the body text formatted into three columns (single-spaced)

  • graphics of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul and the Parthenon in Athens (perform keyword searches on the Internet to find these graphics)

  • a Symbol at the end of the body text

Step 1: Open the plain text document Newsletter.

Step 2: Separate and format the title of the newsletter from the body.

Step 3: Apply three columns to the body text.

Step 4: Insert the two graphics (one of the Parthenon and one of the Blue Mosque), and insert a decorative symbol at the end of the newsletter.

Step 5: Make any other enhancements that will improve the look of your document (e.g., drop caps, watermarks, backgrounds, font colours).

Step 6: Make the adjustments necessary to fit your document on one page.

Step 7: Save your document as a PDF file.
