Remember to use all your skills in the development of professional looking spreadsheets. For example, you may have to make basic formatting decisions, adjust column and row heights, change alignments, or change fonts to ensure your spreadsheet looks as professional as possible.

Instructions

Step 1: Create a new spreadsheet to input your French 20 marks. Using the current year, format the date appropriately. Call this worksheet “Data Table.”

Step 2: Center the titles and the information in the cells underneath.

Step 3: Create a proper heading for the data. Center the title across the top of the table. Format as appropriate.

Step 4: Using a formula, insert the current time showing when this assignment was completed.

Step 5: Copy this table to a new sheet named “Format.”

Step 6: On the Data Table worksheet, calculate your average mark below the data table. Bold and italicize this information.

Step 7: On the Data Table worksheet, calculate your minimum and maximum marks below the average mark. Bold and italicize this information.

Step 8: Underneath the maximum formula, use the COUNT formula to identify how many marks you have between 70 and 80. If you get an error message, choose “Ignore error.” Format the same as the other formulas.

Step 9: Insert a graphic beside the data table that would be appropriate for this information.

Step 10: On the Format worksheet, use table styles to select an appropriate style for your data table. Make sure it looks professional and is easy to read. Highlight only your data table.

Step 11: Sort the information by grade—lowest to highest.

Step 12: Filter the information to hide marks under 60.

Step 13: Set distribution properties for this file. Save your completed spreadsheet in your INF2080 Final Project folder. Save a copy in another format as well.
