1. Supplies

For the next 2 assignments you will need acrylic paint.  At the very least you will need 3 primary colours and white.  This can be found cheaply at the dollar store, and will do just fine.  Better quality paint can be found at art supply and craft stores.

You will also need brushes, and be sure to clean them well after use (dish soap works well for this).

Substrate (the surface that you paint on):   You can complete these assignments in your sketchbook, or on any substrate that you like: paper, board, canvas...  You can purchase canvas boards quite cheaply at the dollar store for acrylic paint, and they work best for the next 2 assignments.  If you come to my on-site demonstrations, I will give you these.
