1. Artist's Statement

Please write 1-2 paragraphs discussing your growth as an artist over the course.  This is an "Artist's Statement" and may include your unique perspective as an artist.  How would you describe your work in general? Any observations about your own artistic style?  Is there a perticular theme, topic or subject matter that you would like your art to focus on? Any learning that you were especially excited, puzzled or surprised by?

Look up artists whose work you admire and type in their name + artist's statement. This will give you a sample or two to get you thinking.
