SELF-DISCOVERY


There are many ways to complete one’s journey to spiritual wellness. You can write about your thoughts on your values, ethics, and beliefs. Discuss them with your loved ones. Connect with others who share similar values, so you can support one another.

Journaling can also help you reflect on your emotions and your interactions with others. It will help you become more aware of how you see yourself and how you react in different situations. Make a point of noting things around you that inspire you.

Meditation can help you quiet your mind during your hectic day. Meditation is not specific to any one faith. It refers to the time you take to be still and to quiet all the clutter that distracts you during the day. Prayer can allow you to connect to your faith, and to express gratitude or ask for help.

Regardless of the ways you engage in self-discovery, the most important thing is to recognize that you are a work in progress, that your values and beliefs are important, and that you need to allow time to reflect.
