Antes de escuchar

• Listen once through to see how much you can understand initially.

• Copy and paste the Práctica assignment from the Practica tab into a word processing document. The Práctica is a written script of the audio and you will listen for missing words.

• Before listening again to the audio, try skimming and scanning the text and try to make some safe general assumptions about what the text is about by looking for familiar vocabulary.

• Listen to the audio again, reading along. When you come across an unfamiliar word, take a chance at guessing what the word means by looking at the context where the word is found.

• Ask yourself comprehension questions as you listen (Do I really understand that sentence?). Pause the audio when necessary.
