What "Stuff" Do I need to Complete this Course?

You need the following resources and items to complete the course successfully:

The textbook is a key resource for Science 14.  You should have received it with the other resources provided upon registration.  If not, please contact our registration department so we can send one very soon.

Clicking on the picture of the textbook sends you to the publisher's website. It contains other useful resources and contact information.

The Science Data Booklet is used in all Alberta science courses.  Therefore, you will use some of it in this course. Be sure you have a hard copy of this booklet with you when you write the final exam. You should get one at the testing centre, but bringing your own copy is a good idea. The testing centre may want to view it before the exam for security reasons.

Make a new Science 14 folder on your desktop or in your hard drive. Save any course work you do, such as practice questions, to this folder.
A Science 14 binder is useful to keep all the paperwork you may have.  Some students prefer to work in the "paper world".  You should save the work you do on paper, such as the practice questions from the textbook.  Such are useful when you prepare for exams.

A complete Science 14 glossary of terms is very helpful in preparing for the final exam.
