Section 2 - Populations

What is the population of your town?  Do you know the population of Alberta? of Canada? of the world?  You are likely thinking only of the human population.  Biologists think of population in a different way.  They think of the number of organisms of each species, not just that of people.

Read the introduction to Chapter 13 on page 254.
