Consider the questions at the bottom of page 260 in your notes. Think about your own decisions. How does the amount of money you have determine your decisions?

Read page 261 of your textbook. Discuss the questions and your answers with a learning partner if possible. Refer to what you have learned so far in this section to defend your answers.

How can consumers from various regions generate change?
You already know that producers must answer the three basic economic questions:
- What goods should be produced?
- How should these goods be produced?
- For whom should the goods be produced?
What products or services would you like to see changed or improved? Consider the reasons you want to improve these products or services.
Did you consider possible reasons such as better quality of the product, protecting the environment, need for space, or improving safety?
As an individual, you might be able to make suggestions regarding these changes or improvements. To be most effective, however, it is better to work as a group. The more people involved, the more likely change can occur.
Think about how you might create change as a consumer or collective. Make a list of ways you could create change.
