A similarity between hurricane storm waves and tsunamis is that they both create very large waves that can damage and erode shorelines. However, hurricane storm waves and tsunamis form differently. High winds from a hurricane create large surface
waves, as the wind transfers energy to water. Tsunamis form when energy is transferred to water by underwater landslides or earthquakes.

The glacierโs movement eroded mountain rock. As the glacier moved, rocks underneath scraped away the mountain rock to form the U-shaped valley.
El Niรฑo is an ocean current that affects western Canadian climate. El Niรฑo makes the climate in Canada drier, with less rain and snow. Without rain and snow, forests become very dry, which makes them burn out of control easily.
