You have read information about various French and British explorers in Chapters 2 and 3 of the textbook. Follow the steps below to complete your Chapter 3 Assessment.
Below is a list of explorers you have studied.

- Significant political and social events in history that correspond and are relevant to the explorer’s life must be included.
- Explain the effect of the explorer’s contribution on the world at the time of his accomplishment.
- Describe any hardships the explorer encountered as he tried to reach his goal.
- Identify the explorer’s greatest accomplishment and explain why this accomplishment makes him the most significant explorer of early Canada.
- At the end of your presentation, identify the sources you have used to gather information about your chosen explorer.
