To begin Unit 2, you will complete a Venn diagram to show what you already know, or think is likely, about the worldviews of the Spanish and the Aztecs at the time of Spanish conquest.

  1. Download the document, Pre-Assessment Activity: Venn Diagram.

  2. Please save your work to a file on your desktop so you will have a copy to refer back to.

  3. Click on one of the links provided to download the document.
      • You will then be able to view the Pre-Assessment Activity: Venn Diagram worksheet.

  4. Include what you know about the Aztecs and what you know about Spain. Remember to try to think of characteristics that might fit both.

  5. When you are finished, submit your worksheet on the next page.
