Modern vehicles have complicated control systems.

Technology adds more features to vehicles all the time, making them more complicated and sometimes confusing to control.  Is it time to re-think vehicle technology?
The basics of controlling a vehicle involve a steering system and a braking system.  Modern technology continues to add many new features to vehicles.  Some are meant to keep drivers and passengers safer, such as cameras that allow you to see behind the vehicle.
As drivers demand new features, more features are added to vehicles. Some of these help drivers to control their vehicles, such as GPS systems that give turn-by-turn directions. Other features are for entertainment and convenience, such as movie players, radios, and phones.

New advances in technology allows a car to park itself.  
Although many pieces of technology are useful and make driving more comfortable and fun, some people argue that cars have too many features and control systems, making them too complicated.

When things are too complicated, drivers can get confused or distracted.  Distractions cause drivers to lose focus and attention.  When that happens during driving, collisions can occur.  What do you think about adding new technology to vehicles?
