Unless you have an identical twin, there is nobody who has the exact same combination of traits as you.
Unless you have an identical twin, there is nobody who has the exact same combination of traits as you.

By reviewing what you have learned in previous years of science studies, you will understand the Grade 9 curriculum more easily.
In Grade 8, you studied cells, βthe basic unit of all lifeβ. All living organisms consist of cells. Groups of cells that are similar make up the various organs in our bodies. As well, you not only discovered the differences between animal and plants cells but also the importance of the nucleus. The nucleus is the βbrainsβ of the cell and directs all other organelles. The nucleus contains DNA, which contains the genetic code of life.

Watch
Watch the video "Cells Cells - Parts of the Cell Rap" for review of what you learned in grade 8..
The video "Parts of an Animal Cell" shows the parts of an animal cell.
The video "Parts of a Plant Cell" shares how plant and animal cells re similar, but also how plant cells are different.
Interactive

Cells are similar to a living factory. The entire cell is made up of several different parts that each have their own function. When every part of the cell is working properly, the cell functions as it should.
