Unit 1: Sequences and Series
Sequences surround us. For example, geneticists talk about DNA sequencing. Computer scientists use binary code, specific sequences of the numbers \(0\) and \(1\), to program computers for specific tasks. In nature, you find patterns such as the Fibonacci numbers. These numbers create a sequence that follows a specific set of rules. Over the next four lessons, you are going to spend time looking at, providing examples of, and solving problems using unique types of sequences and their related series.
