C. Solving Problems with Radicals
You may not be able to come up with many situations that directly involve radical equations, but recall that any time a variable is squared, cubed, or raised to any exponent, its opposite operation involves a radical. Some common areas where exponents are used include the Pythagorean Theorem, many formulas in physics (especially in the topic of kinematics), volume, and surface area.
