C. Solving Absolute Value Equations Involving Quadratic Expressions Algebraically

Absolute value equations that involve quadratic expressions can be solved using most of the same principles seen earlier in this lesson. The difference is that you will not determine the intervals where a quadratic expression is positive or negative, but rather you will identify extraneous solutions only by verifying solutions.
