Lesson 7.1: Solving Systems of Equations Graphically
Completion requirements
Skydiving is the sport of exiting an aircraft and parachuting down to Earth. Sometimes a person will deploy their parachute immediately, and sometimes they will free-fall for part of the trip and open their parachute at a lower altitude. Linear and quadratic equations can be used to model some aspects of a skydiverβs descent, and multiple equations can be used to model multiple descents.

In Lesson 7.1, you will
-
solve systems of linear-quadratic equations graphically,
-
solve systems of quadratic-quadratic equations graphically, and
- use systems of equations to solve problems.
