The Big Question


It is time to review the big question for this unit: How does the human body work?

You know that the human body is made up of body organs and body systems that work together. You also know that it is your responsibility to keep your body healthy.

  1. Choose any body system or organ that you are familiar with and explain why that body system or organ is a necessary part of the human body.
      • You should also include an explanation about how to keep that body system healthy.
      • Make sure to include at least one cause and effect relationship in your explanation.

    1. Here are some ways you can answer the question:  
        • write a short paragraph
        • use the Make Beliefs Comix website to create a cartoon strip
        • record your response on Vocaroo
        • construct a poster using the website Printing Press 
        • You get the idea! Use your imagination but make sure to answer the question! 

      1. Remember you need to :
          • explain why a body system is a necessary part of the human body
          • explain how to keep that body system healthy
          • include one cause and effect relationship in your explanation

        Save

        How to save a file for submission:

        1. If you have created a paper document, scan the document to your computer.
        2. Select your Documents folder as the location to Save In.
        3. Name the document. You will always name your document in a similar way.
            • Use the first letter of your first name, followed by your last name, then an underscore (_), then the name of the file.
            • In this case, the file name is Assessment 3-4-report. For example, if my name is John Smith, I would name my file jsmithla5_3-4-report.

        4. Click Save. Your work is in your Documents folder.

        Submit your file to the teacher:

        1. Submit your completed work for 3-4 report.
        2. Click on the Add Submission button to upload your document.
