Think About It
Before you begin, take a moment to think about these two questions:
- What are some things you think of as being very Canadian?
- What are some things that people in other countries think of when they think of Canada?
Throughout this unit, you will be focusing on answering these two unit questions:
- What are the symbols that represent Canada?
- Who are the Canadians that have made a difference in their field?
To help you answer these questions, you are going to be adding to these two graphic organizers throughout the unit:

- IMPORTANT NOTE: When the download screen opens:
- Click the "Open with" button.
- Select "Adobe Reader".
- Click "OK".
- You will then be able to view the document Canadian Symbols Organizer.
