Example Assignments
Several students have shared their work throughout the course. You will see how they approached assignments and how their assignments were marked. These will be helpful when you are doing your own work. On the next page, you can view these students’ autobiographies on the Meet Your Virtual Classmates page.

Completing and Submitting Assignments
When an assignment requires you to fill out a worksheet or template of some kind, it will be provided to you in three formats: Google docs, Microsoft Word, and PDF. You do not have to submit the same assignment in each format. Choose the format that works best for you!Important Note: If you are using Google docs to complete your assignments, please do not share these docs via e-mail. Use this how-to document to help you choose the best way to submit your assignments in Moodle.

Hyperlinked Words
Throughout
the course, you may see words in bold orange print. These are hyperlinked words, meaning that you must click on them in order to see important course content. These hyperlinks may take you to course videos, assignment rubrics, assignment examples, etc. Be certain to click on all hyperlinks within the course.
Glossary Words
There are some essential vocabulary words in this course that you will be expected to know. These vocabulary words will be hyperlinked. To read the definition of a glossary word, place your computer's mouse over these words in orange, and click on the word. The definition should then appear. You can also view the entire glossary online anytime by clicking Resources in the menu bar at the top of the page, and selecting Glossary. This glossary will be helpful when you are studying for quizzes and exams.Tutorial Quick Links
You will encounter a number of tutorials, videos, and essential instruction throughout the course that were designed to teach you important skills and concepts so that you have the tools to succeed in this course and beyond. In order to make these tutorials and key content easy for you to locate, you will notice there is a button on the main page of your course titled Tutorial Quick Links. The Tutorial Quick Links will be a handy resource when it comes time for you to complete assignments and study for exams.Advice
While there are a number of assignments in this course, and the amount of work to be completed may seem overwhelming, please remember that your teacher is available to help you whenever you need it. If you ever need clarification or help on an assignment, never hesitate to contact your teacher for assistance. Click on the apple icon at the top of the page in this Moodle course for your teacher’s contact information. Keep in mind that many of the assignments in this course are very short and are intended to be completed in roughly an hour. Major essays and big projects will take longer, but they are spaced throughout the course, so you should be able to complete the course in a reasonable amount of time.When it comes time to complete your assignments, do the following:
- Follow each of the steps in the assignment, in order. Finish one step before going on to the next.
- Review any student examples and the marks they received to give you a clear picture of what to do on your own assignment.
- Click on any orange links, or read any pages in the textbooks you are instructed to read.
